Fred Bowers

Fred Bowers currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Prime Trading. Fred’s over 30 years of managerial and trading experience serve as the foundation of Prime’s executive team and Board of Directors. Fred has been instrumental in the growth and development of the company through his vast financial knowledge across a wide range of markets and instruments. 

Fred began his career working as a Soybean Options Trader for Rosenthal Collins Group (RCG) in 1985, where he quickly established himself as one of the premier traders at RCG.

In 1994, Fred was selected to spearhead RCG’s expansion into London, which he managed for the next 6 years. There, Fred also served on the Board of Directors of MacFutures Ltd, one of the first off-floor all electronic trading operations, prior to being acquired by Refco in 2003. 

After LIFFE went fully electronic in 2000, Fred returned to Chicago to rejoin the fixed income division at RGS. He later went on to found B2 Trading Group, a division of RC Trading, LLC (a subsidiary of Rosenthal Collins Group Holdings, LLC) in the summer of 2016, which later merged with Prime in 2019.
